Reference Point of the Canon Update: Chapter 24, Truth Epilogue -- the very ending. Needless to say, big fat SPOILERS abound, for anyone who hasn't seen the series (and, Iunno, actually intends to).
How Will This Change the Character?: Raimi will undergo a massive transformation in character. While he will still be our unfriendly neighborhood jackass from time to time, we're talking about someone who's been through a lot within the course of a few days. Watching just about the only friend you had die right in front of you, after getting them involved in a big conspiracy will initiate a dramatic reevaluation in your life.

From mouse to man of action, Raimi is finally united by those entwined by his traumatic vision of the end of the known world. Driven by a want to make an impact, a newfound responsibility for both his family of strangers and his company make itself known. Once someone who made a habit to never connect with people, now desperately reaching out for those who shared in his experience. In that regard, he is more liable now to reach out and open himself to others, more so than he'd ever been before. It kind of comes with the whole "saintly" gig.

Not only is his mind psychically damaged by extremely low frequencies, but an act of self-sacrifice drives him to take on the pain of the world for the sake of saving it. Literally. This act breaks his spine, head, and neck, and had him mere moments away from death. Had it not been the gift of healing the world from the empath, Shandala, he very well would have.

But he didn't.

The martyrdom of Raimi's friends left him the only other survivor of the four. Raimi lives as a changed man; however, he now expresses a new kind of obsession that shares a likeness to the madman, Lear Dunham. His pseudo-admiration for a man's design that devoted his life to tearing down every pharmaceutical industry, political structure, military organization, and so much more is almost frightening. The concern of his friend, Oran, leaves an unsettling note that Raimi may not be any better than Lear up on the debate table. The fact that Raimi, now with the codes to broadcast a global epiphany at the tip of his fingers, frying their brains, is pretty damn depressing in itself.

Any Large Items?: Nothing large. Just a laptop, inherited from a dead friend, now in his possession after his own apartment and equipment got smoked. It pretty much consists of everything here, including human emotion in digital form. The codes can very well be utilized to channel an epiphany. I guess that might be considered "large" in a more symbolic sense.
If this would be considered in any way a violation on Sacrosanct/can be used for any future plots (as it might), let me know. In any case, the only way an actual broadcast can be used on a global scale (as it was in canon) would be if satellites are involved, anyway.
